Board Approves CSEA Tentative Agreement

As noted in the 讨价还价的 Update from March 8, 2024, the bargaining teams for the 长滩 Unified School District and the California School Employees Association (CSEA), 长滩 Chapter 2, reached tentative agreements (TA) for the 2023-24 negotiation year for both Unit A and Unit B. 

On Wednesday, 4月il 17, the Board of Education approved these TAs. Qualifying employees can expect to receive their retroactive checks on May 8, and the 4% ongoing raise will be reflected in their regular May paycheck. In September, unit members will receive an off-schedule check, which amounts to 4% of an employee’s earnings from July 1, 2023 to June 30, 2024.
